They would then be sent back to that far away spawn point again, each time they died, hence the nickname of the glitch. However, the respawn point would be too far back, and they would need to return to the area where they were before the time ran out. Essentially, the glitch kicked in when a player died in a restricted area and would respawn in another area of the map. In fact, the first note on the site says that all instances of this issue have now been "eliminated." Perhaps one of the most important repairs was to the infamous "deathloop" glitch. ![]() In the interim, there is the matter of one major issue with the game which has been making it pretty much impossible to play, but it looks as though a recent patch for the PlayStation ports has now finally fixed it.Īccording to patch notes on the game's website, version 1.07 on PS4, and 1.007.00 on PS5, of Dying Light 2 has been given a pretty significant update, which brings with it a number of changes, tweaks, and bug fixes, as all good updates do. Techland has hinted at a New Game Plus mode, while lead designer, Tymon Smektała, has expressed interest in supporting the game for the next five years. There's some talk going around at the moment about what the future holds for Dying Light 2.
